Rosalinda premiered on Philippine television last night, July 6, with a modest 26.3 percent to rank sixth in the primetime race. This output is relatively lower compared to the pilot episodes of the Kapuso network's high-profile primetime shows; like Encantadia (40 percent), Darna (47.1 percent) and Dyesebel (44.9 percent).

Rosalinda's premiere episode, which ran for almost an hour, was pitted against ABS-CBN's Only You and Tayong Dalawa. Both Kapamilya programs rated higher than the new Kapuso show. But hopes are still high for Rosalinda to improve its rating as the show progresses.

GMA-7 regained the top spot in the primetime race, thanks to 24 Oras, which generated a 32.3 percent rating. ABS-CBN's Tayong Dalawa was a close second with 31.7 percent.
